Job Description

The Junior Web Designer is primarily responsible for the design and deployment of high-converting websites, landing pages, and ecommerce interfaces for Aurorise AI and client portfolio. You will be the execution layer that ships professional, conversion-optimized pages and maintains the digital storefront of multiple client businesses.

Key Responsibilities

Website & Landing Page Development: Build complete websites and high-converting landing pages using your standardized stack (WordPress / Webflow ..etc) that align with brand identity and business objectives

Funnel Architecture: Construct complete conversion funnels including form setup, booking pages, thank-you sequences, upsell pages, and basic tracking implementation (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel)

Ecommerce Implementation: Configure ecommerce storefronts including product pages, checkout flow optimization, cart functionality, and membership/subscription plan pages with basic payment gateway integration

UI/UX Optimization: Continuously improve page layout structure, ensure mobile responsiveness across all devices, optimize page speed fundamentals, and maintain visual style consistency throughout client properties

Campaign Coordination: Collaborate closely with the marketing executive to understand campaign requirements and deliver pages aligned with promotional timelines and conversion goals

Site Maintenance: Execute regular client site updates, content refreshes, and technical fixes to ensure ongoing functionality and performance

Requirements

Portfolio Evidence:
Demonstrate 3–5 completed pages (live sites, mock projects, or academic work acceptable) showcasing UI sensibility and functional execution

Design Fundamentals:
Solid understanding of spacing hierarchy, typography systems, color theory, and mobile-first design principles

Platform Proficiency:
Familiarity with at least one website builder (WordPress / Webflow / ..etc) with demonstrated willingness and ability to learn additional platforms

Conversion Awareness:
Understanding of landing page best practices, CTA placement, form optimization, and user journey design

Technical Aptitude:
Comfortable with basic HTML/CSS/JS concepts, page speed optimization, and troubleshooting common technical issues

Project Velocity:
Ability to ship pages efficiently while maintaining quality standards and meeting client deadlines

Knowledge

Builders: WordPress, Webflow, or similar page builder platforms
Design: Figma or Adobe XD for wireframes; Canva for asset creation
Tools: Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, form builders, basic SEO fundamentals
Ecommerce: WooCommerce, Shopify basics, payment gateway concepts

Attitude

Detail-oriented, execution-focused, collaborative, user-first mindset, comfortable with iteration

Qualifications

Education: Diploma/Degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Web Design, Computer Science, or related field (portfolio strength may substitute formal education)

Experience: Fresh graduates welcome; any freelance web projects, internships, or personal portfolio work is a strong advantage
